I noticed that my original image (of Scarlet) was slowly detaching itself so i tried a quick fix by removing the original image (on vellum--note to self: Don't collage in encaustic with vellum) and replacing it with a photocopy and the result is not that great. I think this one is going to need a complete over-haul.
what don't you like about it? Is it the disparity between the tones in the birds and portrait? Would adding a tone of color to Scarlet help?
